It was another double for the 1st's and 2nd's on the final Saturday of the NEPL season, the 3rd's lost their penultimate West Tyne fixture on Sunday against South North.
The 2nd's finsihed their title winning season with an 8 wicket win at Denton Bank over Washington.. Washington batted first, scoring 145 all out in 40 overs, Ben Moody taking an impressive 4 for 24 from his 10 overs, Will Archbold with 2 for 34 off his 10, there was always 2 wickets for Safiun Bhuiyan and 1 each for the old fellas Pete Jones and Joe Kilpatrick.
Old fellas Adam Heather with 74 not out and skipper Matty Hynd with 36, scored the majority of the runs, as we easily chased down the score for the loss of only 2 wickets in the 30th over.

The 1st's finished the season in 3rd place thanks to a 5 wicket victory at Washington. The host's batted first posting 179 for 9 in their 50 overs. Joe Torre taking 3 for 26 off 10 overs, Anthony Hunter 2 for 37 in 10 overs, and 1 wicket each for Callum Harding and Max Williamson. We chased down the score for the loss of 5 wickets, thanks to 87 from Angus Guy, 35 from Phil Bell and 25 from Mohsin Mukhtar.

The West Tyne 3rd's lost a rain impacted game at Denton Bank against South North on Sunday. We were all out for 122 despite an excellent 53 from Rohaan Aatif, Matthew Lockey the only other player to reach double figures with 20. South North chased down our score for the loss of 5 wickets, there was a wicket each for Haroon Malik, Chris Pounder, Matthew Lockey, Shay Marley and Abu Siddique.
