It has been a unique first few months into my tenure as President of Benwell Hill Cricket Club. This has been a very difficult and trying time for all and I hope that you have come through this unscathed.
As we appear to be exiting the other end of lockdown and can look ahead to better times, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the many good wishes and congratulations at my appointment. It is truly a pleasure and a great honour to be given the role of President of Benwell Hill CC.
I would also like to share my appreciation of the work undertaken by the Board in steering the club through lockdown and offer my support as they navigate the challenging times ahead as we adapt to new rules of social and sporting engagement.
Bringing things back to cricket. In my opinion Benwell Hill has succeeded in becoming the best cricket club in the North-East. This has been achieved thanks to the contributions of an army of members who have given their time and skills to build this success.
