The second weekend of the season proved to be a big disappointment for the 1st XI. Saturday's league game saw the Hill bowl Eppleton out for what looked a getable 163. Opening bowlers Callum Harding and Luke Mussett each getting 4 for 37. Special mention for keeper Peter Halliday who took 8 catches. However after getting to 51 for 1, the wicket of Will Smith to a stunning catch proved to be the catalyst to a collapse to 122 all out. James Schofield was top scorer with 36. 1st XI NEPL Scoreacard
