Minutes of the BHCC C.I.C. Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday February 28th 2024.
In attendance: T.Williamson, S.Lunn, G.Haxon, L.Dawson, P.Haves, H.Dyson,M.Avery, W.Smalley, T.McVinnie, B.Pearson, G.Chambers, D.McKay, B.Angus, S.Frisken, D.Archbold, W.Archbold, M.Hynd, P.Halliday, C.Pounder, A.Dawson.
1. A minutes silence was held in respect of those Members who had died since the last AGM.
2. The minutes of the previous AGM held on 21st February 2023 were accepted as a true record.
3. The Chairman had circulated an Information Sheet relating to the activities of the Club since the last AGM. This was accepted by the Members.
4. The Hon. Treasurer took the Members through the Accounts of the Club that had been previously circulated. He was pleased to announce a Surplus of £20k against a loss of £11k in the previous financial year. The Club had £45k in the Bank despite spending considerable sums on the General Upkeep of the Club and Equipment as itemised in the Chairman`s Information Sheet. The Accounts were approved and thanks were offered to the Treasurers Messrs Dawson and Smalley.
5. Election of Officers:

- Cricket Secretary: K.Shaw.
- Membership Secretary: G.Haxon.
- Fixtures Secretary: A.Dawson.
- House and Social Secretary: P.Haves.
- Joint Treasurers: L.Dawson, W.Smalley.
- Squash Secretary: M.Avery.
- First X1 Captain: P.Halliday; Vice Captain: M.Williamson
- Second X1 Captain: M.Hynd; Vice Captain: P.Jones.
- Third X1 Captain: C.Pounder; Vice Captain: D.Ladd
The following agreed to sit on the General Committee: S.Lunn, D.Haxon, D.Archbold, H.Dyson, B.Angus, G.Haxon, S.Williamson, W.Archbold, B.Pearson (Child Welfare Officer) L. Pearson, M.Wright, P.Brown.
The following agreed to Select Teams in 2024 alongside Capatains and Vice Captains: P.Haves, D.McKay, B.Pearson. They would be assisted by A.Heather and A.Dawson.
The Meeting was asked to approve the exploration of a Proposal to erect an Advertising Hoarding at the Entrance to the Ground.
The Chairman closed the Meeting by thanking all those present for attending and especially thanked those who had volunteered for office in the next year. A General Committee Meeting on March 25th 2024 @ 7.15.
