Kyle was once again in the runs contributing 77 of the Hill's successful chase of Lanchester's 124 for 6.
Saturday saw the 1st and 2nd's entertain old foes Tynemouth. At the Hill, the 1st XI recorded a winning draw. We batted first posting 197 all out in 57 overs, it was welcome return for Phil NIcholson to the top of the order, as he top scored with a resolute 88, he was the last wicket to fall in our innings as he pushed for what would of been another memorable century.
Tynemouth would of fancied their chances at the break, but some great seam bowling from Joe Kilpatrick and Callum Harding had them realing at 32 for 5, and then 70 for 5, 89 for 6, 105 for 7 and 109 for 8, before an excellent 9th partnership saw the visitors to safety at 151 for 8 from their alloted 53 overs.
