The West Tyne League 3’s lost out in a low scoring affair at Humsaugh. After losing the toss and being insterted we posted 112/9 in 40 overs. Only five scored double figures including 10 for Taylor 14 for Rash and Andy but what was pleasing was the contribution from the junior lads again. A confident 23 from Abu Siddique and a magnificent 29 from Rory Mustard who yet again made batting look easy.
In reply Humsaugh finished on 113/5 in the 28th over with 2 wickets each for Haroon and Taylor and one for Chris. Despite not getting a wicket Warren Poxon bowled well again only going for 16 runs from his 5 overs. The future is bright.
