The latest Covid Cup fixture saw the ladies suffer a 9 wicket loss at the hand of last season' league runners up Tyndale Ladies. Compared to the previous few weeks it was a low scoring affair, with only 108 runs scored, and with no successful guesses there is a rollover to next weeks game.
Batting first the Hill ladies posted only 52 for 5 in their 10 overs, The Anderson sisters top scoring, Sally with 18* and Annie 15. Unfortunately the modest total was no challenge to the strong Tynedale batting line up, who knocked off the runs in 7 overs for the loss of only 1 wicket.
