The 2024 NEPL season finished with some well earned recognition for the Hill in the form of the Groundsman of the Year Award for Mark Charlton, and his team of assistants, Geoff and John Chambers, there was also recognition for Phil NIcholson, who was inducted into the inaugural NEPL Hall of Fame for his outstanding NEPL career (so far!!) since the leagues formation in 2000. Other inductees were John Graham, Stephen Humble, Richard Waite and Alan McKenna. The evening also started with a poignant minute's applause tribute to Keith Shaw, who served on the NEPL Management Committee for many years.
