The competition has a fantastic history with some of the most famous English cricketers having played in it in the past, most recently Luke Doneathy played in the tournament 5 years ago

This week Haydon (and Owen Blackburn) are representing Northumberland in an Under 15 festival at Barnard Castle, and the week has got off to a cracking start with Haydon scoring 136 versus Cambridge on Monday and Owen scoring 50 v North of England Cricket Academy on Tuesday.
