On 13th July, Tom Murphy, Martin Murphy, Michael Murphy, Billy Swinhoe, Pete Miller and friends set out on their 5 day Annual Cycle Challenge in the Netherlands. They covered over 140 miles cycling from Ijuimden to Alkmaar, then onto Enkhuizen, to Voldenham and back to Ijuimden. Well done all, in what we understand were some challenging conditions, including 45mph head and side winds on the final two days, which meant speeds were limited to 6mph. If members want to offer support on their endeavours, collection tins are still on the bar at the Hill, or you contact the lads directly to arrange your sponsorship.
