The Second XI finished off a great season in style with a crushing victory over Lanchester in the fnal of the James Bell Cup at Bill Quay on Saturday 21st September.
The Hill batted first and scored an unelievable 224 for 5 in 20 overs, Joe Moore top scoring with 74, with Ben Mussett and Will Archbold both scoring 30. Lanchester finished on 91 for 8, there were 3 wickets each for Anthony Hunter and Pete Jones.
What a tremendous season for Andy Dawson and his team, with 3 cup successes, including NEPL T20 competition and a runner up place in the league.
