As we approach the start of April, can you believe the new cricket season is less than a week away, with a plethora of pre season fixtures arranged to wet your appetite for the NEPL and NTCL league season ahead:
Saturday 5th April - 1st XI T20 round robin competition at NBMS Denton Bank against Felling and Darlington RA Cricket Clubs. First game is at 10am see's the Hil take on Felling, at 1pm Felling will play Darlington RA, and the afternoon concludes with the Hill playing Darlington RA at 4pm.
Sunday 6th April - 1st XI 40 over game against Durham Academy, 12 noon start.
Saturday 12th April - 1st XI and 2nd XI warm up games v Tynemouth CC, the 1st XI are away at Tynemouth, with the 2nd XI hosting at the Hill.
Sunday 13th April - a Benwell Hill XI are playing at NBMS Denton Bank against Washington CC - 12 noon start.
Saturday 19th April - NEPL and NTSL season commences, 1st travel to Eppleton CC (12 noon start), 2nd XI are at home against Chester le Street (12 noon start), 3rd XI kick of their NTSL adventure against Haltwhistle CC at Newbrough (1pm start).
