This Bank Holiday weekend is setup to be a cracker, it starts with the 1st XI entertaining league leaders South North in a NEPL Premier Division fixture, starting at 11:30am. We also have Fire Pit (Real American Food) due at 5pm, see Twitter for details of their menu. The 2nd XI are in action on Saturday PM at Gosforth in the reverse fixture, where they hope to keep up their fantastic league form, which has seen them take over at the top of the table by 1 point from Tynemouth, and 13 points ahead of their opponents South North. The West Tyne 3rd XI entertain Riding Mill at Humshaugh CC.
The highlight of the weekend however will (hopefully) be the Banks Salver Cup final versus Hetton Lyons. It's the 1st eleven's last chance of silverware, so the team will be keen to finish off their cup campaign on a high. The game is a 40 over affair starting at 1pm. The game will be preceeded by an Under 13 game between the Hill and Newcastle, commencing at 9:30am. The NEPL 3rd XI are in action away to Sunderland.
Bank Holiday Monday sees our Under 19 team in semi final action away to Alnmouth, the game is a 5pm start.
