On Tuesday night, our under 19s maintained their unbeaten run to qualify for the final following a tight semi final win at home to Newcastle.
Shay Marley continued his excellent form with 3 wickets, as despite dropping several catches, we restricted Newcastle to 101/4 in 16 overs. Skipper Rohaan Aatif with 42 and Owen Blackburn with 26 made a sound start, but despite a slight wobble, we edged home with 2 balls to spare to win by 6 wickets in an excellent game. MD Salim hit the winning runs for the third game in a row.
We will now play at Alnmouth in the final on Friday 3d September, start time of 5pm.
