Unfortunately the entire weekend programme fell victim to the weather. Friday's first 2nd XI NEPL T20 fixture of the season, all 3 senior league fixtures on Sunday, the Sunday NEPL 3rd XI game as well as the two junior fixtures (U11 and U13s) on Sunday morning all being cancelled due to waterlogged pitches. The 2nd XI did get started at Burnmoor, but we only faced 2.5 overs before the heaven's opened again.
We try again this weekend, with 2's away to Felling on Friday evening in the NEPL T20 comp, the 2's hosting South North on Saturday, with the 1's in the reverse fixture at Gosforth, the West Tyne 3's host Mitford at Humshaugh. On Sunday the NEPL 3's travel to Philadelphia (Durham not the USA)
