The latest round of the Covid Cup has thrown up a fascinating fixture as a Benwell Hill Geriatrics XI made up of ex players takes on a Benwell Hill Social XI, made up of regular visitors to the club room during bar opening hours.

The Hill Social XI team is : Jimmy Mottram, Martin Avery, John Chambers, Fenwick Frikin, Larry Dawson, Gordon Haxon, John Street, Tom Murphy, Phil Grice, Brian Angu, Ramsey Wilson
A reminder of how this works for those new to the game. Covid Cup is a simulation of a real cricket game between the two sides with real players (team news below), the game is 10 overs per side. You can take part by trying to successfully guess the TOTAL runs scored in the game.
