For once the Hill were on the right side of the weather gods, as both the 1st's and 2nd's recorded excellent victories, whilst many of their nearest rvials succumbed to the frequent downpours that persisted throughout Saturday.
At the Hill, Luke Doneathy scored a breathtaking 117 not out in only 79 balls, incluiding 11 fours and 7 sixes, as the Hill succesfully chased down Eppleton's 182 in the 32nd over for the loss of only 1 wicket. James Schofield, in what is his likely to be his last game for the Hill (he is moving to that London) contributed 40 not out. A special word for Schoey, who has had a great season so far, scoring over 400 league runs, at an average of 57.86. Earlier in the day we dismissed Eppleton for 182, with Mohsin Mukhtar taking an excellent 5 for 41, despite the wet ball, there was also 2 wickets each for Luke Doneathy and Anthony Hunter, FInn McGreath the other wicket taker.
