Hill lads depart for foreign shores to continue their cricketing education

2 Oct 2019

Joe Anderson, Rory Hanley, Mohsin Mukhtar and Max Williamson, have all jetted off this week to sunnier climes to play cricket this winter.

Joe, Rory and Max are off to the Gold Coast in Australia to play for Palm Beach Currumbin Cricket Club. This will be Max's second season with the club, it will be Joe and Rory's first season, and the lads will have tough acts to follow, as they will be replacing Luke Mussett who played last winter, and England's Mark Wood who played for the club a few years ago. The Hill lads will also be joined at the club by Finn Longberg from Tynemouth Cricket Club.

Mohsin is off to Cape Town in South Africa to play for Rylands Cricket Club.

Good luck lads. We will of course keep you posted throughout the winter on their progress.
