Junior Review (16-18 June) - 4 wins out of 4 this week for Hill junior teams

It has been a great few days for the Hill junior sides with wins on Sunday for the U13s v Newcastle City and U11s v Benwell, this was then followed up by wins on for the U15s v Ponteland on Monday and U11s v South North on Tuesday.

Sunday 15th June

The U13s scored 121 for 7 v Newcastle City, Haydon Mustard once again passing 30 and having to retire, Fardin Bhuyian also scoring 30+. We then bowled out Newcastle City for 66, with wickets shared around, Owen Blackburn the pick with 3 for 9 (off 4 overs), Ibrahaim Tayyab taking 2 for 11, Fardin Bhuyian 1 for 3, Sam Rowe 1 for 14 and Abu Siddique 1 for 19, to secure a comfortable 55 run vistory.

U13 scorecard v Newcastle City

 

The Under 11s secured a 89 run victory over Benwell and Walbottle. We scored 107 runs and took 10 wickets for an overall total of 157, compared to Benwell's 43 runs and 5 wickets, overall total of 68. Hill highlights were:

Batting - Aaron Armstrong 24*, Ben Robinson 10*, Warren Poxon 13*, Tom Heffernan 14*

 

Bowling - Ben Robinson 3 (overs) -2 (maidens) - 4 (runs) - 2 (wickets), Warren Poxon 2-1-2-1, Aaron Armstrong 3-2-2-2, Rory Mustard 3-0-8-1, Mayaank Reddy 3-1-4-1

 

Monday 17th June / Tuesday 18th June

The U15s made it two wins in a row with a comprehensive victory over Ponteland. We bowled out Ponteland for only 48, and knocked them off for the loss only 1 wicket. More details to follow.

The U11's had an excellent 16 run victory over South North at the Hill. South North 63 for 7 - nett 28. BHCC 64 for 4 - nett 44. Hill Highlights:
