Apologies to all our readers, the 1st XI County Cup match at Stocksfield which was advertised as due to be played on Friday 7th June, was rearranged at short notice to Tuesday 4th June.
Unfortunately the new date meant a whole host of our normal first eleven couldn't play for various reason, and old boy Luke Doneathy took advantage as he bludgeoned our attack for 136 off 63 balls (although he was helped by 4 dropped catches). Despite a century for Yash (102 not out) we couldn't get close to the mamoth chase of 230 to win in 20 overs, as we eventually finished 62 runs short.
