Another damp weekend played havoc with Friday nights NEPL T20, and Saturday's NEPL and West Tyne league fixtures, with all 4 games abandoned.
However a break in the weather on Sunday, allowed the 2nd's to play their NEPL T20 fixture at South North. Batting first we posted 122 for 3 off our 20 overs, with Joe Anderson top socring with 49no, useful contributions also from Fenwick Frisking 28no and Joe Moore 23. We successfully defended the total, resticting South North to 113 for 8 from their 20 overs, Jeff Mason the pick of the bowlers with 4 for 19.
